教育のグローバル化

医学部健康総合科学科では、教育の舞台を世界に広げ、国際社会に貢献できるグローバルな人材を育成するために、2015年度より海外短期研修支援、ならびに海外招聘事業を行っています。

※新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響で海外渡航が困難なため、2020年2月を最後に海外研修と海外招聘は活動中止しています。

1.海外短期研修支援

「日本で学べないことを、海外で経験したい」という学生の熱意を支援するために、約1週間の海外研修の旅費を支援する制度です。学生は、自分の興味や関心に従って自主的に研修先を決め、研修内容を企画します。教員と相談しながら、研修先にアプローチし、交渉や調整も自ら行います。海外研修そのものだけではなく、こうした一連の経験が国際感覚の習得に繋がります。健康総合科学科は必要経費の支援のみならず、本事業専任の教員も常駐して万全のサポート体制を整えていますので、学生は安心して海外研修に臨むことができます。

2015年度より毎年25名前後の学生が、この制度を活用して海外短期研修を経験しました。2015年度から2019年度の5年間で本学科の学生が訪問した国は合計28カ国です（米国、カナダ、英国、フランス、イタリア、スペイン、モロッコ、ドイツ、オランダ、ベルギー、スイス、ノルウェー、フィンランド、デンマーク、スウェーデン、キプロス、南アフリカ共和国、タンザニア、ザンビア、フィリピン、タイ、台湾、中国、ミャンマー、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、フィジー、トンガ）。

2.海外招聘事業

世界の健康科学をリードする研究者を世界各国から招聘し、学部学生、大学院生、学科教員が参加する特別講義をしていただきます。グローバルな知に直接触れて、健康について国際的な視野で考える貴重な機会になっています。海外事情について理解を深めると同時に、わが国の現状や課題を見つめなおす機会となっています。更に、一流の科学者の日常や人柄、見識の深さに触れることが何にも代えがたい経験として、学生のモチベーションに直結しているようです。
